2002年畢業于吉林大學化學學院并獲得工學學士學位,同年保送吉林大學高分子化學與物理專業攻讀博士學位,師從馬於光教授和沈家驄院士,并于2007年獲得哲學博士學位。同年加入加拿大多倫多大學Mitchell A. Winnik教授研究小組,從事具有熒光特性的嵌段共聚物的陰離子聚合以及其可控活性自組裝行為的研究。2009年前往美國芝加哥大學Luping Yu教授實驗室從事高分子材料方向研究。2012年加入全球主要的受體材料制造商之一Nano-C, Inc.公司工作,作為高級研究員主管與默克集團(Merck KGaA)的合作研究,致力于發展高性能的富勒烯衍生物材料體系。2013年加入美國Polyera Corp.公司,作為高級研究員進行高效率聚合物給體材料的研發工作。2012年9月作為有機光電子材料領域優秀青年科研工作者(GSAS學者),受美國自然科學基金(NSF)邀請參加了在臺灣大學舉辦的有機太陽能全球高級研討會。2014年8月受聘為南方科技大學化學系副教授。至今在Chem. Rev.、J. Am. Chem. Soc.、Adv. Mater. 以及Angew. Chem. Int. Edit.等國際頂尖專業雜志上已發表論文40篇,總引用次數超過1000次,h-指數17。
